Fiddler Joyce Pan is a multi-genre violinist, playing classical, Celtic fiddling, and jazz as a member of orchestras, chamber groups, and fiddling groups throughout Southern California. Joyce’s “day job” is as a Senior Software Engineer for Google, focusing on Android development for Mobile Perception and Applications.

Joyce studies jazz and fiddling with current and former Turtle Island Quartet members David Balakrishnan and Jeremy Kittel, as well as Henry Gronnier, Livia Sohn, and Barry Shiffman. Joyce is a graduate of Stanford University, where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees.

Joyce performs regularly around Los Angeles with various groups including a Celtic duo called Joyce & David, the Olde Ale Folks, and the Scottish Fiddlers of Los Angeles. She is on the Board for (and helps organize) the SoCal Chamber Music Workshop.
